This blog is created by paula roush, founder of msdm and artist and lecturer of digital media in the AME Arts, Media and English Department at the London Southbank University.

She joined the AME Digital Photography course in August 2006, as senior lecturer. Since 2006, she is also the module coordinator for Thinking Practices: Critical Dialogues in Art and Media in the MA Art and Media Practice, department of Media, Art & Design at the University of Westminster, London.

Previously, she lectured in Art in Community Settings at the Birkbeck College (Arts Management Course) and worked with art and media organisations as artist and curator in a range of new media art projects. Funding sources have included Arts council England, Gulbenkian Foundation UK, and Space Media Arts.

Paula is a graduate from the University of Lisbon (licenciatura Social Psychology), the Emporia State University (MA Fulbright scholar), South London Gallery (PhD as a work of art), and the Bauhaus Kolleg (Event City Post-Graduate Programme).

Current interests include the areas of sociable media and networked art practices.

Ongoing academic project: the LSBU funded Teaching and Learning Innovation Project on social media in learning.

Latest art projects: the book browser landscapes and the installation soundtrack for a cctv presented as part of the Voyeur Project Vew in Dec-Jan 0708.

msdm artworks have been included in exhibitions at the Kunsthalle Exerngrass, Vienna; K3 Zurich; Space, London; EV+A, Limerick; Heimat Moderne, Leipzig; P74 Gallery, Ljubljana;Prague Biennale, Institute of International Visual Arts, London; Gesellschaft fur Aktuelle Kunst, Bremen and Living Art Museum, Reykjavik.
