NO OFFICIAL BUILDINGS NO LOCAL PEOPLE NO OIL FACILITIES
Saudi Arabia, London: msdm, 2007

A collaborative project between the London-based consulting engineer Marcel Tolbarin and Paula Roush. The project contains photographs by Tolbarin of Saudi Arabia, where a ban on photography in public areas has recently been lifted, but where tourists are still not allowed to photograph official buildings, local people nor oil facilities.

download NONONO IPOD V0.2, the ipod photo version for NO OFFICIAL BUILDINGS NO LOCAL PEOPLE NO OIL FACILITIES.

1. download the zip pack here
2. decompress the zip file (contains 101 screensize jpgs)
3. open iphoto and drag & drop the nonono-msdm-ipodV0.2 into the side bar. It automatically creates a new album with that title.

4. open itunes with your ipod plugged in.

5. Choose photos tab from the ipod menu and select the album nonono-msdm-ipodV0.2. Click the apply button.

6. Eject the ipod, select photos from the main menu and then nonono-msdm-ipodV0.2 from the next menu. The photos will scroll as per your slideshow settings.

7. You can add a soundtrack, by selecting music in the slideshow settings.

Thanks tiger magazine for the iphoto/itunes/ipod hack. It really works brilliant with no need for a .mac account.
