Marathon Missile is an ongoing  project, started in April 2019.
The piece documents one point on the London Marathon route
in Woolwich, where the runners are photographed passing by
the former Rapier missile-training Royal Artillery Barracks.

The photographs are then compiled into photozines and sewn into found discarded running wear, creating wearables that thread a biopolitical narrative between the athletic body and the militarised space.

This process is expanded into physical theatre, communicating the reclaimed clothing and printed material to an audience as a form of performative publishing. With the wearables on,
a performer enacts their body as reading potential.

The audience is invited to actively engage with the publications and wearables, reading becoming a corporeal haptic experience
