Project: BODY READY [+more]
The series aims to explore body positivity looking at the different ways the skin folds and rolls creating patterns and shapes. The beauty industry and social media is constantly advertising the same ‘ideal’ body that everyone should aspire to, promoting unrealistic standards that can often be damaging to people’s self confidence. People should not have to hide or feel ashamed of how they look and this work  shows the artist's body as it naturally is, with all its rolls and imperfections. Prints on tumbled travertine tile. 3 x (406 x 610 x 12mm)

Project: Those that we kneel to [+more]
A photography based performative installation, this body of work challenges how religion is intrinsically woven into the fabric of rural Austrian life. Beneath a pious exterior, there is an undercurrent of ancient traditions, rooted in  region and it's natives for far longer than the Catholic Church has ruled this area. Nevertheless, women such as my grandmother Rosa Scherrer, maintain their (inconspicuous) role as matriarch. The content featured in the chatter boxes, which are a crucial part of this installation, has also been featured in "XX\/XY Magazine"
