JAGTEN PÅ COMPETAS PALMER //
THE HUNT FOR THE PALM TREES OF COMPETA
Based on my own experiences, this is a closer look
at the human tendency to chase the feeling of
happiness, the feeling that something could be better
- and therein perhaps a longing to feel the meaning of
life, which is often contrasting, genuine and contains
far more than the shade of the next palm tree.

GONE LOOKING FOR DEER
photographic journal from a forest
Photography, text and design by Ane Bonde Rolsted
Loose binding within envelope.
Pages are either handwritten or laser printed
on various papers in mainly size A4 and A5.
The book is an attempt to translate the
multisensorial experiences of being in the forest into
photography. The dummy starts with a note “gone looking
for deer” and the non-chronological narrative entails no
photo of a deer, but polaroid emulsion lifts and laser-printed digital photos of a dead fox, various tree trunks, insects.
The photographic project was meant as a journal from the
forest, but is as much a journey into my own mind.

What is the color of water? The answer is part science and part emotion; yet the answer is elusive and shifting. Through the dual processes of examining gradations of color and gradations of emotion, Schorr follows the ephemeral refractions of light and mood in water.

This project is about seeing the world through the eyes of a person, suffering from loneliness - a feeling of immeasurable loss.
Summer is not going to be ours
any more.
Now, tomorrow or ever.
Now I am here
and you there.
