Space [re]production and retro-configuration. As an experimental form of knowledge production, the academy works through site specific investigation in a series of issues that are central to msdm's practice: the mobility of contemporary aesthetic practices, the geographies of social movements, tactics of mobilisation and the performative qualities of public space. The actions create an interruption in the daily flux of work and consumption to rethink our relationship to the memory of collectivism, utopianism and the role of protest in the production of urban space.
