Written by Joana Nascimento, an essay on her collaboration with msdm
project liquid memories for Jornal 1.
'Jornal, If it walks like a duck and it talks like a duck it’s a duck'
is a periodical (biannual) dedicated to artists' books and art publishing.
Editors: Isabel Baraona, Ana João Romana, Catarina Leitão & Susana Gaudêncio.

The theme for this 1st issue is the political act of publishing. If publishing is making public, this gesture from the self to the collective  has inevitably a political dimension; the exhibition and distribution  of the work affirms or
questions the ethical and poetic relationship we establish with the world.
