Curation as an artistic practice is once again a growing field in contemporary practice, enabling dialogue between the author-curator's practice and that of collaborators. Similarly, the field of territorial photography, particularly the technical landscapes shaped by technical system installations, remains an area of exploration, as does the editorial exercise of the artist's book as an artistic practice. Liquid Memory is a curatorial, artistic, and editorial project involving 25 authors and featuring 33 photographic and video projects. The central theme reflects on water-related issues, including the challenges of Lisbon's water supply system and the geopolitical, contextual, biographical, identity-based, and procedural interpretations explored by various authors in translating the significance of water in their artistic practice. Water serves as both the theme and the medium of these works, and it is also the theme and medium of the exhibition.
